Standard steps to set your android phone to USA mode

1. Language & Region Settings

 

Go to:

Settings > System > Languages & input > Languages

 

Add or move English (United States) to the top

 

Optional: Remove other languages

 

2. Region Setting

 

Some phones (Pixel, Samsung) let you choose a region: Settings > System > Region

 

Set it to United States

 

If you don’t see it, skip — it’s managed via Google services.

 

3. Time Zone & Format

 

Go to:

Settings > System > Date & time

 

Enable “Use network-provided time”

 

Enable “Use network-provided time zone”

 

Should now be set to a U.S. time zone (e.g., PST, EST)

 

4. Google Account Location

 

Go to:

myaccount.google.com → Data & Privacy

 

Scroll to “General Preferences for the Web”

 

Set Region to United States

 

Also make sure Language is English (US)

 

5. Google Assistant Language & Content

 

Open Google Assistant → tap your profile → Languages

 

Set it to English (United States)

 

Back in Assistant settings, go to “You” > Your Places

 

Set Home as a U.S. address (even just a ZIP like 90210)

 

6. Ads & Personalization

 

Go to:

Settings > Google > Ads

 

Make sure Ad personalization is ON

 

It will now show USA-based ads & suggestions

 

7. Maps & Location Services

 

Open Google Maps → tap profile → Settings > Country profile

 

Switch to United States if not already

 

Use the eSIM for consistent U.S. IP and GPS signals

 

8. Restart the Phone

 

Once all settings are changed, restart the device to apply all changes fully.
